Thankful again
March 2, 2008 – 5:15 pmOn the heels of the tragedy at NIU an explosion at a strip mall in Waukegan (about 30 minutes from the house) blows the roof off of the building and leaves several hurt. And just like NIU, this has a personal connection. While we were watching the tv news coverage our youngest daughter tells us that she was in that mall at a travel agent’s office with a friend just days before. Another close call, and another reason to be thankful.
